Home from home in BA

This is a wonderful little boutique hotel located in a lovely part of BA. With only four rooms (two junior and two senior "suites") it never gets "busy" and the attentive staff always have time to answer questions or even have a chat over coffee. In fact, the staff are reason enough to visit, very friendly, well informed about where to go/eat/shop, and keen to share their knowledge.

The decor is quirky: the owner has stuffed the rooms and communal areas with interesting antiques and memorabilia of BA with polo and anglophile themes prominent. The junior suite we had was very cosy, and probably a touch on the small side, but very comfortable with all the facilities you might expect (great bathroom, comfy beds with sumptuous linen and duvet, tv, mini bar, free wi-fi access, etc). The seniour suite we stayed in on a subsequent visit was much larger with a seating area and balcony with table and chairs.

There is a small pool in the garden and laptops with wi-fi available for guest use.

Breakfasts are basic and served in the main reception area.

Directions: Costa Petit is in the Palermo Soho district, within easy reach of the city centre and most places of interest to visitors. The surrounding area has an endless supply of great restaurants, specialist shops, bars and parks.
