Hospitable Host and Comfortable Place

There are so many places to find accommodation in Buenos Aires. I wanted to find a place near San Telmo because I'm bit crazy about Tango. And after I was in BA for awhile I realized I could move hostels and be closer. But the Garden Hostel is so nice and relaxing I just couldn't see moving. And I kept coming back to the same place. Javier and his staff are really warm and friendly. He speaks excellent English and is really knowledgeable about his city and country. He had done some pretty extensive travel so he knows what it's like to be on the road.

The hostel is close to San Jose Metro station. From here you can shoot anywhere you want in the city. There are close by markets and restaurants.

Tell Javier, John from America sent you.

Unique Quality: Breakfast Included (typical meager Argentine breakfast)
Hot water
Internet Access
Laundry
Airport Pick Up
Linen Included & Towels
No Curfew (this is a good thing in this city)
Security Lockers
Luggage Storage
24 Hour Reception

Trendy, but...

If you are looking for a trendy place, with young people everywhere, large and empty rooms and a typical "spanish" ambiance, the Garden House is made for you. The only matter is that you pay for a bedroom that is not as trendy as the rest of the house (beds, and nothing else). Of course, the dining room is nice, but you don't sleep in it ! We hope that the frendly owners will improve the facilities.

Unique Quality: Not far from the best and most typical parts of BsAs (San Telmo, La Boca) and not far from downtown (20 minutes walk). 22,5 pesos (about 7 USD) per person, breakfast included.

Pas loin des meilleurs et des plus typiques coins de BsAs (San Telmo et La Boca) et pas loin du centre plus commercial (20 minutes de marche). 22,5 pesos (7 USD) par personne, avec le petit-dej inclus.

The GardenHouse Buenos Aires

This hostel it's managed by two young travelers, that created the place based on their experiences around the world at the hostels they stayed. Located at the beautiful Barrio de San Telmo.
3 floor, big spaced place, with beatiful decoration and mood. Dorms, and personal rooms. Top Quality service. Cheap as a hostel, but feels like home.

Unique Quality: Great mood, the owners know the best things to do in Buenos Aires. Close to all the main attractions of the city.
