The staff was excellent in meeting the needs of their multi-national guests. Many of them spoke multiple languages. The hotel is also located across the street from the subway.
The room was beautiful, and I had a balcony overlooking Avenia 9 de Julio. Although the strret can be loud, the double doors with double paned glass blocked out all of the noise. It was great to be able to open the doors in the morning, and watch the world go by.
I booked this hotel with a friend after reading all the wonderful reviews on the internet. The hotel is on the small side but it really makes no difference except when it comes to the rooms. The rooms are tiny and the walls are a bit thin making it difficult to relax if you want to stay in the room a lot. The subté (Buenos Aires' underground rail system) actually runs under the hotel and can be heard on the lower floors. I only heard it though when I would use the business center on the first floor (one above the lobby).
The staff is incredibly friendly and amazingly helpful.
