Stylish front entrance

The kitchen did get cleaned but was so old that it discouraged residents from keeping it so, I wouldn't reccomend trying to cook for yourself or keep anything in the refridgerator that wasn't sealed. There are plenty of places to eat out in San Telmo. Hot water in showers and quite at night. No air con but we were up on the 3rd floor so got a pleasant breeze through the window.
The desk crew tend not to speak too much english (which is a good thing)

Unique Quality: The bulding is genuinely wonderful with a lot of period features remaining though the rickety bannister was a bit worrying. The facade of the ground floor is what caught our eye when we were first in B.A. There is a reasonable collection of Carlos Gardel ephemera on the walls.
