Nightclubs in BA

by gigi_samp

The vt tips are not really up to date, so i want tips from locals about nightclubs in buenos aires. I'm going in April with some friends and we're all in our 20s.

Been a while since I partied in BA, but I do remember having a blast there though. I do hear good stuff about Club Atletico, and I think I may have been there but under another name. Can't be sure though, - a bit hazy.....d:o)

Here are a couple of guides to the nightlife there.....!

Hi gigi,
What a great idea to come over to Buenos Aires, you'll enjoy your trip, that's for sure!!!
They're several option. In fact it depend of the day you wants to go out...
You can do a pub crawl! It's really nice, it's a good way to meet people from all around the world and it's cheap!
Then on wednesday you have the "after office" of terasas for example (which is quite expensive but very nice!!)
Then, of course you have lot's of bars and restaurants, for example you can go to "canitas" which is a very nice aera with lot's of people and places to have a good time!!
I have find a nice web site where I use to find lots of informations for the pub crawl etc, It might help you:
Hope it can help you!!

Enjoy our trip!!!

The 2 best areas are Palermo Viejo and Palermo Soho (aka Palermo Hollywood) which are adjacent to one another. Buy a copy of Time Out Buenos Aires for clubs, restaurants, sightseeing etc. Make sure that you buy the English version

Views of Buenos Aires on Airplane

by mydreamquest

Have your camera ready while landing in Buenos Aires in the day time, especially at dawn or sunset. As plane will go parallel to the River Plate, you'll be able to take some nice landscape pictures.

Here's one. Going to Cafes and walking about Recoletta.

* For those coming with USD

by lolitajane

* For those coming with USD or Euros, take into account that, as a result of the devaluation of the peso, the change you can get for your currencies may vary. Make sure to change the money in the Bureau du changes located at the city centres (to have some pocket money to pay taxis, for instance), not in the streets. Also consider that many shops and restaurants accept US Dollars (not sure about Euros), but do ask before ordering.

Wow! to be honest with you i`ve never been to this kind of mechanical parks before. it was a great experience to be a real roller coaster, some beautiful cars and many other funny activities that offer this park.
i really appreciate my time here and also more because i was with my good friends, Christian from Guatemala and my countryman, pedro...
To get there is very easy, it`s located next to the river + there are some signs

Looking for antiques?

by wadekorzan about La Sarita

It's a typical shop in the district of San Telmo. Though this shop is very nice, it's not necessary to seek out this particular shop if you are looking for antiques. Just go to the Barrio of San Telmo, the oldest district of Buenos Aires. Besides the Sunday antiques fair on Plaza Dorrego, you will find literally dozens of antique shops like this one in all of the streets around Plaza Dorrego.
