The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful - they're a credit to the hotel management.
Breakfasts are ample with good variety and the inhouse restaurant better than most hotels. With a small bar area and free internet access, the hotel is ideal for a city stay, reasonably priced and good value for your money.
As well as its proximity to so many of Buenos Aires' attractions, the hotel's location above ground level and on a pedestrianised street means there is no traffic noise to disturb guests - a real bonus in a big city.
Don't confuse this with the Howard Johnson Classic on Bartolome Mitre or any of the other HoJo's in BA - their location is nowhere near as convenient.
As Florida is pedestrianised, if you take a taxi you will have to leave it at the corner of either Paraguay or M.T. de Alvear, or you can enter the hotel from the rear via an arcade off Maipu. All are very short distances.
