Wonderful place to stay in Palermo

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 5, 2013

I arrived at the Airport at BsAs without a hotel but soon decided on this hotel depending upon the reviews it had received. Also the location was ideal. I was greeted warmly on arrival just a couple of hours later and each and every staff member was friendly and helpful. In fact they would go out of their way to give you all the information you need.
The breakfast is enough, in fact you could defer your lunch to a minor role until your substantial dinner elsewhere because at breakfast you could have cooked omellette and the usual acccoutnrements. Very good service. This morning Julia was very kind and good. Claudio who works in the evening is very knowledgeable about what a tourist would need and please dont hesitate to ask him if you have any questions.
The rooms are befitting of a boutique hotel and i could sleep soundly without any disturbance. I hardly saw any of the other guests even though there were a few at the breakfast tables. The hotel has good occupancy rate so it is preferred to book in advance. If you go to their website there is a daily special rate which is good.
There are many people to thank especially the manager of the day of my departure who reminded me that my passport had been left in the safe in the room after i had checked out of the room!
i had written a report on tripadvisor as well. I will upload the photographs later ..

Unique Quality: small and intimate
very good service
good price can be had on the website
sumptuoso breakfast

extremely helpful staff

Charming hotel in BA's Palermo

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 30, 2011

My sister-in-law picked out this hotel based on the stellar reviews on tripadvisor. Turns out people were right about the place as we were not in the least disappointed, in fact we were very satisfied with this choice. Mine is a small hotel located in the neighborhood of Palermo Soho, a barrio of Buenos Aires which is currently famous for its fashion boutiques, restaurants and bars. My room was of an adequate size, somewhere mid-way between an American and a French hotel room. I had more than enough space to move around the bed. Windows faced to a back garden so I had no problem with the noise but I assume the front rooms are more noisy. The staff was very helpful and courteous and spoke fluent English. We were given maps of the surrounding neighborhood and advice about restaurants. The common areas which include the lounge, the breakfast place and an outside garden are nicely furnished and perfect for resting your feet after a day of visiting the sights. Free wireless is available.
