Just got back from lovely Buenos Aires, and I have only glowing comments to share regarding Mine Hotel Boutique. The staff is exceptional: kind, courteous, extraordinarily helpful. The rooms are bright, airy, immaculate. My recommendations: Be sure and try the pastries provided at breakfast. Heavenly, heavenly. After breakfast, soak in the sun on the lounge chairs provided near the pool. In the evening, consider grabbing a bite to eat at Bar Uriarte a few blocks away. You will enjoy!
Great Hotel!!!

We just returned from a week's stay at the Mine Hotel. What a great experience! The hotel staff is EXTREMELY helpful, professional, and sincere. Every person on staff we encountered seemed eager to help with whatever we needed (advice for sightseeing, directions, etc.) The hotel itself is very clean and we loved the stylish decor. The pictures on the hotel's website accurately depict what you will see when you get there. Also, the food and wine in the hotel's restaurant were very good. We loved the fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast!
There were only a couple of very minor issues we had with the place. One was the shower. The shower floor is just a continuation of the bathroom floor with a raised portion separating it to try and keep water from getting all over the bathroom floor. This was not very effective and we ended up with a wet floor every morning after our showers. It wasn't anything a few towels couldn't soak up, so really no big deal. The only other thing I wasn't crazy about was the bottom sheet on the bed. This may just be a matter of culture or maybe just personal preference. They had a regular sheet covering the mattress instead of a fitted sheet. What this meant was that after a night's sleep, we would wake up to a corner of an exposed mattress near our heads. I'm a little bit picky when it comes to keeping a layer of clean material between me and a mattress that other people have slept on. Again, this wasn't a huge deal. I just tried to tuck it under the mattress as best as I could before I went to sleep and tried not to toss and turn so much in the night (which wasn't difficult - the beds were pretty comfortable!).
Overall, I would say this was a great experience. I would certainly stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Buenos Aires!!
wouldn't stay anywhere else!

After looking at many options, we decided to stay at Mine Hotel...and what a great choice it was! the staff was exceptional! They made great recommendationsfor restaurants, clubs and anything else we asked! They made reservations for us and called a taxi if we needed it.
The breakfast was great! As someone said, the pastries are terrific, fresh orange juice, good coffee and eggs made fresh however you like... a great start to the day.
We arrived at 9:00 in the morning and were allowed to check in our room. Since we had flown all night , this was nice. They also held our luggage on the last day while we explored the city.
LOOK NO FURTHER! This is the only place to stay in BA. Great location, the best staff and a terrific value! "Gracias" to the staff at MIne!
Great experience, great staff, great everything.

Just got back from a 2 week vacation in BA.
We unfortunately got only a few nights at the Mine Hotel but we're so thankful that we stayed here!
The staff was wonderful - Angela, you're great!
The breakfast was also good - eggs! So hard to find eggs for breakfast in this city and they had them.
There is also a beautiful little pool that is refreshing and modern.
The rooms were very clean and we had a nice shower too.
The AC worked like a dream as well, which is SO important especially if you're going during the summer.
We would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family and if/when we go back to BA, this will be one of the 1st places we will try and stay.
Two BIG thumbs up!
Be Careful

Be careful with this place. You can't sleep at night (elevator machine and the concret floor). The staff is very unefficient. The waitress working at breakfast in 15 april is very unpolite. Forget this place if you want to be happy in Buenos Aires.

The Place to Stay
by TripAdvisor Member MsPippy
This was the best hotel I stayed in Buenos Aires. The modern but warm atmosphere was extactly what we wanted. It has a small restaurant, outdoor area and friendly staff. It's in the heart of Palermo Soho surrounded by shops, bars and restuarants. I felt extremely safe. A taxi ride to downtown Buenos Aires is only $US10. I would definately stay there again.
Loved hotel Mine!
by TripAdvisor Member desjef
My girl friend and I stayed in Mine two days during our trip in Argentina. We both really loved it.
I travel for work every week in the US and usually stay in W or Westin hotels. Obviously this hotel is different, but it is great.
The hotel is a decent size (20 rooms) and the location in Palermo SoHo can not be beat. Very close walk to tons of restaurants, bars and shops. Metro is 15-20 minute walk, but I recommned just taking a cab as they are cheap enough.
Staff is very friendly and speaks good English (for Argentina). They were very helpful and made arrangement for Boca Juniors games and a Tango show.
Rooms are maybe smaller than US travelers might be used to but are done nicely. Concrete floors, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds.
Free WiFi throughout the hotel and they also have a computer for guest use.
Breakfast is included and consistes of pasteries, cereal, fresh orange juice, coffee and you can order eggs.
Overall a very nice hotel in one of the hippest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. Would stay here again, especially for a $125 (excluding tax) rate.
Wish we could have stayed longer

Stayed here for three nights in April and was really impressed. The staff were helpful, the rooms were spacious and the location is fabulous. As a couple of other reviews have mentioned it is a little noisy but only like hotels are noisy (lifts, doors shutting, polished concrete floors). I would really recommend Mine.
Very nice hotel but the smell to much perfum
by TripAdvisor Member HLL50
We stayed at this hotel in Palermo district of Buenos Aires since it had a very good review in Tripadvisor. This is a very nice hotel and comparable to any North American high class hotel. However, if you are susceptible to perfume odours I would recommend that you do not go in this hotel. In the hotel there was a very strong perfume odour (smell like men aftershave perfume-musk). When we got to our hotel we complained about the odour and they were very nice to make us change room (with upgrade) . Even in our new room we also had this perfume smell. Apart from the odour the room were quite big and there was a shower in the bathroom for the basic room. Our upgrade room had a very nice bath in the bathroom. The breakfast (included) at the hotel was very good with fresh fruits.
The staff was also very nice.
