We stayed at the TRYP, Marriott & SOHO during our visit to BA and if we visit again SOHO would be our choice. Why?
1.) Nice mininmal design. Not your normal hotel room furnishings
2.) Helpful, friendly staff with a good base knowledge of English
3.) They let us store 3 bags for a week before we showed up.
4.) A lot of local flavor. Palermo SOHO is one of the best neighborhoods if you want to get away for all the tour groups. Many restaruants, active nightlife, wonderful boutique shopping, bakery across the street, weekend craft markets......
5.) A small kitchen with a microwave and fridge is always a bonus. And the extra room is a pleasure when you have been traveling with the same person for 15 days. :-)
One negative:
If you are in the front room, not the bedroom you will hear some noise from the hall. Not a big deal unless you are super sensitive.
