Unbeatable B&B in Adrogue, Buenos Aires

My friend and I were on a short visit to Buenos Aires coming from Santiago, Chile after visiting Peru and Brazil. Luckily we found Teresita B&B on the internet. We read many comments on B&Bs available in Buenos Aires and we choose Teresita because of a particular offering they had on their website: pre-travel planning for guests at no extra charge. As we did not plan to visit Buenos Aires until the last minute, the fact that the host at Teresita B&B was willing to plan our visit as a bonus for booking was exactly what we needed. Our main criteria of selecting a place to stay was the price, then safety and last the location. Teresita B&B seemed to have all three covered and sure they did plus a whole set of extras that made this place the best selection on our trip to south America. We've got a guest house for $40 per night and we stayed there for 4 nights. That was only $160!
We sent an email to Teresita before arriving and asked her to prepare for us a 4 day itinerary. When we arrived everything was planned for us! We had all the directions to go visit the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires: La Boca, San Telmo, Recoleta and Palermo. She booked a tango show called Opera Pampa that was fabulous (best performance we have even seen). Then we got to visit Colonia, Uruguay and the last day we spend a day at Estancia Villa Maria (highly recommended)
The location is about an hour from Buenos Aires city, but only 5 minutes walk to the train station (Adrogue) and buses. Shops are all around. We had dinner twice at a local restaurant called Next (very nice people, wonderful food and super cheap). Lots of convenience stores. The area was very nice and we felt safe at all times. The guest house is not huge, but it is super clean and very nice decorated.

Unique Quality: The breakfast is worth to mention because it is all homemade, from the bread to the jam! all is done by Teresita at the main house kitchen. When we were there Teresita was teaching a cooking class (we could not attend because it was full), but the people who assisted to the class invited us to share the incredible food that was prepared at the class. We meet a couple who was traveling through south America for a complete year! they too agreed that Teresita was a very special person. We had a nice talk drinking wine sitting on the outside table. Teresita made us feel that we were welcome at all times.
I highly recommend Teresita B&B for people traveling on a budget. Amazing you will not be disappointed!
