Clean, centrally located and decently priced

The Wilton Hotel is a clean, centrally located four-star hotel in the Recoleta neighborhood. Deals can be found on the Internet, especially during the off-season. The staff is friendly and the breakfast (included in the price) is very good. There are many dining options nearby. The rooms are nice, but if you're expecting luxury you will be dissappointed.

Nobody else has stayed here?????

Is this my own hidden secret or what?! The best location (Callao Ave. and Santa Fe Ave. - Recoleta neighborhood) and the friendliest staff I have ever seen. Impecably clean and a supurb breakfast which is included. If ANYONE is heading to B.A. please write me and I'll fill you in on everything as my wife Maria is from B.A.

Unique Quality: Get this....U.S. $50.00 a night. Unreal

Great Location/Centrally Located

Our stay was very comfortable, airconditioner worked well. Staff was nice and helpful and most spoke english. The room was basic but clean and adequate.

Unique Quality: They had a very nice breakfast included in the price. They had Ham lunch meat, cheese, crakers, creamy cheeses, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruits, teas, coffee, juice

A VERY SATISFACTORY ACCOMODATION

We stayed here 7 nights from April 17th. The hotel was conveniently located, 4 blocks from the SUBTE (SUBWAY), near buses, restaurants, shopping, and within walking distance of major attractions. The hotel was not fancy but seemed to offer a good value (we booked for less than $80 per night). The breakfast room was large and attractive and the free buffet was fresh and tasty (varied beverages, numerous breads and pastries, assorted cold cuts and cheese, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruits, hardboiled eggs, etc.). The staff were extremely helpful and had some or a good deal of English. Two free computers and a printer were available for guest use and came in handy for doing e-mail and printing boarding passes. We had a pleasant stay and would certainly recommend Wilton.

Unique Quality: We really appreciated the thorough and efficient housekeeping services here. We would leave the please clean room sign on the door, go to breakfast about 7am or 8am (breakfast is served from 7am to 11am), use the computers outside the breakfast room, and return to find our room made up.

This is probably the largest operator in Argentina. ASATEJ

As for a hotel, would be nice if you put a price range. For some not so expensive is under U$S300 a night and for someone else it is under U$S50 a night. But here are some in a range, this one is in a good location and around U$S100 a night
http://www.apartrecoleta.com.ar/ This one is fairly basic but in a good location http://www.juncalpalacehotel.com.ar/index.htm

This one is under U$S200 a night and very nice http://www.hotelbelair.com.ar/
As is this one http://www.arthotel.com.ar/

The Hotel Prince on Arenales in Recoleta is probably your best bet. Inexpensive (probably under US$100. a night) and in a great location.
There are many travel agents on Av Santa Fe, between Carlos Pelligrini (9 de Julio, the widest street in the world, so they say) and Esmeralda. Most of them deal with tours of Agentina.

Try the Wilton Hotel in Recoletta. Rate $US85.00. Very good breakfast.
