Mar del Plata is one of the most important cities in Buenos Aires. It's a seaside city, and its beaches are probably the most beautiful of the country. The city has everything you can imagine: Sea, beaches, countryside, entertainment, etc. You can do plenty of things there (I've been going there since I was a child and I never get bored!). It's got a beautiful city centre. It is part of the General Pueyrredon district, located at 400 km southeast of Buenos Aires. Mar del Plata, the district's main city, receives millions of tourists who come to enjoy the great variety of activities the city offers throughout the year.
