GRWOING FINE.....Nice to visit, but I wouldn't wanna swim there!
"Mar del Marron, not Plata"
Mar del Plata means Sea of Silver in English. But really, the water is very brown here, as is the sand. It is still a fun destination for 3 or 4 days. We had a hotel right on the beach, and this photo was taken from our window. You can see it is a sea of people (no pun intended) and the water is indeed, not blue. But it is a great people watching destination, and different than anywhere else in Argentina.
"Pedestrian Mall"
The pedestrian walkway has lots of street performers during different times of the day. Here the Power Rangers posed for pictures with kids. I always wondered what happened to them after their series was cancelled.
