CÓRDOBA is the Capital of Commerce and History
by lolitajane
The first Argentinian university and also one of the first bishoprics were founded here. Buildings of interest are the Cathedral, the University, El Cabildo - The Town Hall -, the College of Monserrat, the churches of the Compañía de Jesús, San Francisco and San Roque. Córdoba has large commercial zones, residential areas and recreational areas like the Complejo Ferial and the wooded Parque Sarmiento. My end-of-term trip.
Córdoba - "Corazon de mi país"

"Córdoba te extraño siempre"
Córdoba, Argentina is easily one of my favorite places on the planet. Known of as Argentina's "2nd city", it is a vibrant city of around 1.5 million people who are very warm and inviting to travellers in general.
Downtown has a very European feel, and the quality of goods and services is superb. The city is flanked by mountains known as Las Sierras Chicas, and they offer splendid views behind the city lights.
The surrounding province of the same name is filled with breathtaking scenery and great spots for getting away from it all.
"El corazon de mi país" means "The heart of my country," and Córdoba is certainly that. I hope you consider a visit and discover the one of the most inviting and friendly cities in South America.
