is there a train from Buenos Aires to Cordoba (argentina)?

Hi,
Iam going to Buenos Aires for holidays next july and I would like to go to Córdoba (the name of the town is Villa Carlos Paz) as well, and i was wondering if there is a train to go there. Also i would like to know the name of the bus company to go there

There are not any trains from Buenos Aires to Cordoba. There are frequent buses which take 10 hours and cost 60.00 pesos. Aerolineas Argentinas fare is 233.00 pesos one way.

FAST FACTS ABOUT CORDOBA:

1 - [ˈkorðoβa] located near the geographical center of Argentina, in the foothills of the Sierras Chicas on the Suquía River, about 700 km (435 mi) northwest of Buenos Aires.

2 - It is the second-largest city in Argentina after Buenos Aires. With about 1.3 million inhabitants (as of 2001).

3 - The city was founded on July 6, 1573 by Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera, and was named after Córdoba, Spain. It was one of the first Spanish colonial capitals of the region that is now Argentina.

4 - The Universidad Nacional de Córdoba is the oldest and the 2nd largest university in Argentina (after the Universidad de Buenos Aires). It was founded in 1613 by the Jesuit Order.
