The architecture of the ranches varies according to their descendants and tradition of his proprietors; some are from Jesuitical times and many others have a colonial style. It is very common to find ranches with the typical outer galleries surrounding the main house and some of them offer a fresh inner yard and ample installations. Often the ranches conserve all the old furniture and decoration as the firewood iron kitchens and the mud ovens.
In many ranches the history is observed, the tradition and uses of these immigrant families, a very valued characteristic by the guests.
Activities for all pleasures. The ranches offer an ample options menu involving countryside, farm and rural activities, characteristics and knowledge: on the bovine and ovine races, esquilla, yerra (cattle marking), milking, food preparation.

Practices of canotaje, trecking, mountainbike, adventure tourism, 4 x 4, photographic safaris, nature observation, birds sight (birdwatching), interpretation footpaths, hunting and it fishing.
In all the correntinians ranches you may enjoy the best roasted meat, including lambs from the zone, but also they offer a great variety of stews, fresh river fish cocked with hot coal, exquisite regional candies and the imperdibles fireside with mate (infusion) and chip? (cheese cake).
The Unmissing Siesta
The silence only interrupted by the singing of birds, invites to enjoy the siesta (a nap), a true local sport.
This was one of the better decisions made during my trip. The hotel is conveniently located, relatively new, and the staff beyond any expectations (talking about the owner actually). Arriving in Corrientes on Saturday from Paraguay after failing to change money at the border is very helpful. The bus station is barren as far as exchange offices are concerned. No money for food or transportation till Monday!? Then comes in the good angel, the Pavon hotel owner and lends me money - I could not believe what I saw.
Hot water never showed up but this was a cosmetic deficiency, since the weather was quite pleasantly cool.
We arrived veeeeery late in Corrientes (3 in the morning, thank you Mendoza (the bus company)). The guy who took us from the bus station to this place said it was the least expensive... and it probably is ! 10 pesos (3 USD) by person ... but be careful ! There are some "cucarachas" (beetles) under the beds !
