Hotel San Jorge
Hotel San Jorge had a good writeup in the Footprint Guidebook so we chose it for our first night´s stay in Parana. The hostel was full, and as we didn't know of any cheaper places this was the best option for us. We later found Las Brisas (see my other tip) which is a better option for a budget traveller but if you're stuck San Jorge is fine too. We had TV and bathroom in our room, plus breakfast was included - all for 80 pesos a night in a twin room. They offered us a nicer double for 90 but we chose the twin room. It´s in a good location on Belgrano about 5 minutes walk from the main square.

Hotel Las Brisas
Las Brisas is an excellent choice for anyone looking for good value accommodation in Parana. The only hotel in the centre that was cheaper was the youth hostel, but as their double room was booked up we chose Las Brisas. It´s in a great location, only a couple of blocks from the main square, Plaza 1 de Mayo. The people running the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. We had a double room with TV, shower and bathroom - all for 65 pesos a night. A small breakfast was included in the price. The only criticism I have is the noise from the street. Most of the rooms face on to Calle Bavio, and we were kept awake late (and awoken early) by the passing traffic.

It has 123 comfortable rooms, with all the services you need.
