Tilcara was the highest city I'd ever been to. The place is at 2600 m about sea level, and the first reaction my body felt was a big dizzness and tireness that is called high-altitude sickness. All you need is coca leaves tea, that is going to help you with the problem. Local people called Earth as Pachamama, that means in Quechua Mother=Mama Earth=Pacha. Then, you can continue visiting the zone...

Tilcara era la ciudad mas alta que habia visitado. A 2600 msm, mi cuerpo reaccionó con un gran mareo y cansancio; lo que es llamado mal de altura o "soroche". Todo lo que se necesita es un te de hojas de coca, que ayudan con el problema. En la región se llama a la Tierra Pachamama ( Madre Tierra). Luego de repararnos, podemos seguir visitando la zona...
