Hotel Jardín is conveniently located in the center. This mid-range hotel provides basic service and is a good option in its price range. The interior courtyard is nicely landscaped with some statues and a fountain, and there is no road noise.
Terrazas Apartments provides temporary rental of furnished & serviced apartments. We rented a 1 room apartment for $90 (argentine pesos) per night, plus $10 per night for private parking. The room is comfortable. It has cable TV, internet, a mini fridge, a microwave oven, a coffee machine, a toaster, and a safe box. Of course, we rented the smallest appartment because we were 2, but there are bigger ones.
When we arrived, we were received by the "concierge", who took us to our room and showed us around. We were given a key for the back door because from 11pm there's no concierge, so nobody can go out or in through the front door. That's a con.
The parking place is half a block away from the hotel, on the same street as the back door. It gets a little creepy at night, but we were told that it was safe. We didn't have any problem.
All in all, this hotel is a pretty good choice I think. And it's really not expensive.
It's feel like in home... the owners are really lovely, beds and rooms are comfortable.
Private bathrooms, Tv on the breakfast room.
It's only four block from the city center
