CERRO CATEDRAL
The Cerro Catedral- the name has to do with the similarity of its peaks with a gothic cathedral- is the most important ski resort of South America. It is located in the marvellous region of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, at 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the International Airport of Bariloche and 19 kilometers (12 miles) from the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, in the southest province of R?o Negro. One warning: the resort is divided into two skiable area (each one functions whith diferents tickets or passes, non combinables between them): Roble Catedral with its ski tracks of Punta Princesa, De la Garganta, Pista Seis o Del Bosque, Amancay, De las Nubes and Carlitos; and the Alta Patagonia with its ski tracks of Punta Nevada, Del Segundo Lomo, De la Palmera, Intermedia, Primer Lomo, Piedra del C?ndor and La Avalancha.
