Right on the lake
On a hill above the lake with it's own waterfall! La Cascada has seen the likes of Fidel Castro and the Queen of Denmark stay there .... but they also made room for the likes of me. Very reasonable pricing for a place this special (maybe 1/2 the cost of the ultra famous, ultra chic LLao LLao hotel).
The rooms are more than adequate size and I definitely recommend a lake view room! Only drawback is a continental breakfast instead of a full menu at breakfast. They do have a dining room but I chose to eat downtown.
