My favourite Hostel in Salta
"Hostal Backpackers" was recommended to me by a travel-friend who I met along the way. He told me that the atmosphere in the Hostel is unique and the staff very friendly. So when arriving at the bus-terminal in Salta, I fought against all the other hostal offers and went directly to the much praised "Hostal Backpackers".
I have to say I was not disappointed and can only recommend this hostal to you. You will find ther travelers to chat with and the staff really cares about the guests.
Unique Quality: The hostal is clean, the staff very friendly and helpful (staff speaks english as well). The will help you book tours in Salta and know a lot about the city itself.
The breakfast (included in the price) is ok. Nothing amazing, but good coffee.
The rooms are clean but not very large. That doesn't really matter, though, because the hostal offers other rooms where you can hang out, meet people or simply relax.
Internet is available against a small fee, laundry-service is not only available, but also very fast and the hostal has a nice roof terrace, including a bar, where weekly "asados" (BBQ) excite the meat-lover.
The crowd is young, international and interesting.
