Bloomers Salta B&B is great

We liked Bloomer's Bed & Brunch in Salta so much that we stayed there twice over 3 weeks: first for about 5 days, then we went away to sightsee in the area for several days, and then came back for a week. The rooms are lovely and spacious, beds are comfy and large, the "brunch" really is a brunch, with some hot dish, such as scrambled eggs or crepes, in addition to fruit, juice, coffee/tea, and various breads. (A big improvement over your normal coffee and medialuna "breakfast" at most Argentinian hotels.) The location is excellent, close to Salta's large central square and downtown area, on a quiet side street. But the big attractions are the owners, Adriann and Sybill, who are fonts of knowledge about the area, will make car rental or other arrangements for you, and who are very personable and gracious -- open to conversations with guests (in English or Spanish) on any range of topics from nearby tourist destinations to global politics. One possible downside is that there is no air-conditioning, but there are nice ceiling fans and the rooms are off a cool central courtyard. Highly recommended.
