Travel Tips for Salta

Gerald

by Maillekeul

Gerald is my friend... When he lives in Salta, he also displays its art (drawings and paintings) on the pedestrian street of Aribaldi. From 9 in the evening... Go there and have a look, it’s worth it !

Gerald est mon pote... Quand il vit a Salta, il en profite aussi pour exposer son art (dessins et peintures) dans la rue pietonne de Aribaldi. A partir de 9 heures du soir... Allez y et matez le tout, ca vaut le coup !

Salta, Argentinaaaaaaaaa!

"Salta + Jujuy in the mountains"

Incredible architecture abound in this town. See Churches.

The most adorable little vendors ran about 1 mile to reach our car at the saltlicks to make a living. We gladly agreed.

You can tell the class structure at play. Darker Argentines tend to be less affluent whereas towards the center/Buenos Aires, the lighter skin people tend to have more material possessions. Sad, but true. Still, the country works towards egalitarianism for all. A great sign of hope.

Yes, that's right, ALL salt.
