"San Juan"
My sister studied in San Juan, Argentina in high school and we traveled down to see her and meet her family over the New Year's Holiday in 2000. They were an amazing family full of love and hospitaltiy. They brought us in and made us feel like old friends and part of their family. It is people like them that make me want to travel the world round and meet more people just like them.
We took a small side-trip to this local dam/reservoir.
Tip, rent one of the area cottages out for the afternoon as a base. If you're with local Argentinans, suggest to have a an "asado" or BBQ, the slow-cooked meat over the wood is amazing!
