A Gem
I booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Stayed here with spouse for two nights in December 2006.
I absolutely LOVED this property. The rooms were very nice, finished to a high standard, our shower was quite large, the hotel is beautifully sited facing Lago Argentino with its opal waters and the occasional iceberg.
The bed was comfortable, the hotel is immaculately clean, the common areas are comfortable and convivial, and there is free internet.
But the real clincher was the staff. My wife fell ill during the early morning hours of our first night, and I mentioned this to the staff as I took breakfast the following morning alone, as she was too poorly to dine with me. The staff couldn't do enough for her, bringing her a special breakfast, asking after her as the day went on, and even suggesting things to do that wouldn't be too strenuous.
That evening, we dined in the restaurant. Not only were the meals excellent, they suggested and prepared a special meal for her (rice, soup, etc.).
In general, nothing we asked for was too much trouble.
In short, I was very impressed by this hotel and would definitely stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it to friends
