The most peaceful and beautiful location

Peaceful... Large windows (over the lake and over the flowery garden), light and birds singing... The staff is really nice too.

Tranquilidad... Grandes ventanales (sobre el lago y sobre el jardín en flor), luz y canto de pájaros... El personal es realmente amable también.

Unique Quality: Sierra Nevada is a small hostal situated outskirts, in front of Redonda Bay; all the rooms have a large panoramic window over the bay. It is nicely decorated, with a profusion of wood and local flowers; each room has not only a number, but the name of a native plant. It has a small restaurant (only for dinner), and the breakfast are really good; they also cook picnic boxes (which is very necessary during day trips). It has a beautiful garden, internet connection and a gym (I do not know who uses the gym... you have a lot of sporty activities at El Calafate!)

Sierra Nevada es una pequeña hostería situada en las afueras, frente a la Bahía Redonda; todas las habitaciones tienen un gran ventanal que da a la bahía. Está decorado con buen gusto, con profusión de madera y flores locales; cada habitación no sólo tiene número, sino que además tiene el nombre de uan planta autóctona. Tiene un pequeño restaurante (sólo sirven cenas), y los desayunos son buenos; también preparan viandas (necesarias para los paseos de día entero). Tiene un hermoso jardín, acceso a internet y gimnasio (no sé quién usa el gimnasio... hay un montón de actividades deportivas en El Calafate!)
