Hi guys from around the world!! I have the pleasure of introducing my birth city to all of you. Rosario is very similar in size an population to Córdoba and there is a long term rivalry about which one is the second city in Argentina. Just take a look and don't give too much attention to those arguments.
Rosario is situated by the Paraná river, 300 km (200 miles) to the north from Buenos Aires, the capital.
It is the most important harbour in the country and it was the first grain exporting harbour in the world in the 40's. The river comes from Brazil and it is the one where the Iguazú Falls discharge their big waters. Rosario is, of course,more to the south, in the higher delta area. Therefore, the river is wide and full of islands facing the city shores.
But, Rosario is not only river, sailing and vessels. It has a great night and cultural life. You don't have to think anymore. Come and visit us!!
