My son will be playing rugby in rosario on 3 August 2006, his school team are on tour.My wife and I will be in Buenos Aires on 2 Aug, and we would like to get out to see the game, problem is we have to be back at Buenos Aires airport for a flight to Peru 08.45 on 4 Aug. Is there a bus or train that we could take out to Rosario on 2 Aug and a return on 3 Aug departing in the eveningof 3 Aug.

There are lot of Bus companies that travel regularly from Rosario to Buenos Aires and return, at almost any hour. You won´t have problem. You may book the tickets some days in advance from Retiro (Bus Station in Buenos Aires).

Rosario is considered by many to be the second greatest city in Argentina. I know those from Cordoba and Mendoza might contest this but, I haven't been there!! It is the birthplace of Che Guevara, though don't expect to see a lot of hoopla as in Argentina he seems to be less popular than he is outside of it. Rosario is a vibrant city, with great people.
