Campingsite in National Park: including all facilities
This is a real campingsite inside of the national Park "Tierra del Fuego", not far from the big lake that has a fine gravel on the beach and offers a great view of the snowcovered mountains in the distance. Most of the tents will be placed between and under high trees, so you will not be affected so very much by the strong, icy winds that will blow in Tierra del Fuego all year long.
Unique Quality: There are all facilities at this campingsite, including a restaurant and a hostel for backpackers. Buses will go there on a regular basis from Ushuaia every day and even several times a day.

Wild camping: a great place
In the National Park Tierra del Fuego you will find some great areas for wild camping, including secured fireplaces, mostly close to rivers and lakes, just look out for the signs, because these areas are restricted to certain areas only.
I saw a few tents there, mainly of tourists travelling by bikes.
Unique Quality: The water is cetrainly too cold to swim there and sometimes there will be icy winds even in summertime in the whole area, so it is not always just big fun ! These places are free of charge, you just have to pay the entrancefee of 30 ARG $ (= 7 euros) for the national park, BUT you will also not find any other facilities than a place to make fire and a waste-bin.
