French food with a local twist
by Andraf about Chez Manu
Aside from Kaupe, another fine dining experience that we had in Ushuaia was the French restaurant Chez Manu. Like Kaupe it has glorious views of the Beagle Channel being located up the hill on the road to the glacier, across from Hotel del Glaciar. As food choices go, we had to pick between centolla, the king crab (of course), fish & seafood, lamb. I didn't try the centolla, but I can really recommend the lamb. Service was very good, same goes for the wine list. A bit expensive but definitely worth the price.

Surfing a few websites related to hostals around the world and I found this one: www.hihostals.com.
Try to make a reservation... in the middle of the process you'll find the address, phone number and even pics. Then you can continue with the reservation or not.

OPS!! i've read hoStel like hotel... I'm sorry.
I believe Hotel del Glaciar would be too expensive.
here at

you see a list of accomodation, check on the map where the location is, it could be "expansive to save money". I saw different place there where you should need a car [or climb].
try to be close to Av. San Martin.

Hi, I stayed at the finnes terrae, It is in the tip section on my ushuaia page. It is more od a B&B than a hostel but is great if you dont want to be sharing with crowds of people and its cheap
