Where Journey Begin....

I stayed at this hostel for three nights whilst I was in Ushuaia. The first dorm I stayed in was cramped and crowded and the upper dorm beds were horrible! It was a short walk outside to the nearest bathroom which was something to be desired. I had to move to another dorm on my final night of my stay to a more pleasant and smaller dorm where we had our ensuite bathroom - an improvement to what I had for the first couple of nights! The guest kitchen is small and can get crowded on an evening. The hostel seems to be a monopoly for Overland Tours companies such as Oasis and a lot of the dorms tend to be block booked for those companies throughout the high season, which I feel, in my opinion, an unfair advantage for independent travellers.

I would recommend this hostel but best booking a private room and not going in high season.

Unique Quality: As the hostel is on a hill, you get great views of the town centre, the port, and The Beagle Channel. A free transfer is included from the airport to the hostel and free breakfast is included in the rate.
