Heavenly villa in Ushuaia

We stayed at the Patagonia Villa in March 2009 and had a fantastic stay! Luciana and Georgina were so kind and helpful, helping us plan our excursions, giving advice on restaurants and helping us rent a car. The villa is a wonderful place to stay, it surpassed our expectations by leaps and bounds. It is rustic yet modern, warm and cozy and with lovely linens and warm duvets on the beds, it was a perfect place for our family of 4 to stay and enjoy Ushuaia. We stayed in the villa with the loft, the heated cement floors were awesome to come home to after a chilly day visiting the penguins. Ktichen was fully stocked with snacks, wine, breakfast was included. Only a short, cheap $4 canadian taxi ride into town to see the shops and have supper. They also have wifi - which is great! We felt right at home and didn't want to leave!

Unique Quality: Amazing views from loft bedroom and from living room, it's like being in a tree house as you are perched above ground. Beautiful fireplace, warm cement floors, spa like bathroom and soaring ceilings.

Very remote, but very comfortable

We stayed at a place called Patagonia Villa. It was really just renting a self enclosed portion of a house. The place was quaint and homey. The owner dealt with us personally. I would go back again. We were a bit troubled by how far away from the city center we were. It would have been tough, if we did not have a car.

The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms well equiped. There was not a proper plug for the bathtub.

Unique Quality: This is really not a place for facilities. What you ar getting is a good sized aprtment in a big house. There was a fire place in the living room, and our "room" included a full kitchen, tons of little snacks to buy. The owner had put together a nice little book of local resources. It proved helpful to us.
