One Sunday, my group went to a church on the poorer side of town. The people were so wonderful. There was a little girl who became very attached to me in the short time we were there. She and I couldn't communicate with language, because I don't know but 3 words of Spanish. But it's a testimony of their compassion. They are all so wonderful! This picture is looking out over the city from this church! The houses are practically right on top of one another!
On a lot of walls all over Cochabamba I found interesting paintings and sometimes very political or philosphical phrases. I put some examples on my Bolivia page travelogue ana as well on my "street scene"-Travelogue of Cochabamba
Cochabamba is the third biggest town in Bolivia after La Paz (El Alto) and Santa Cruz de la Sierra. It´s at an altitude of moreor less 2500m with a clima not that cold as in the highlands and not that hot as in the jungle (Sant Cruz). Quite nice to stay here for a while.

A: "The road is open right now and no problem in travelling. Now, maybe in November the situation can change but currently, it is OK"
