On the Yungas, road from Coroico to Caranavi is a beauty steel nerves test (it has been reported as the most dangerous on the world -drive by the left hand-). The coming back by Coripata is exiting and extraordinary (take a whole day to taste it quietly).

On commence a La Paz avec l'agence de Velo... on part en mini bus jusqu'a la Cumbre...4700m et on monte sur nos v?lo pour faire le debut de la piste qui est en asphalte pour 1h environ... et par la suite nous rencontrons la fameuse route de la mort avec ses paysage a couper le souffle....(ceux qui on le vertige s'abstenir) c'est que que l'on appelle une DROPE de 90 degres.... plusieurs chutes de bus on fait des accidents mortels... mais le tout ?tant de descendre jusqu'a 1200m Coroico est le point final de cette excursion....epoustouflant pour ceux qui aime faire du plein air. I biked down 70 kilometers on the infamous Death Road. It was 2 Britts, Eddy the Guide, and me battling down the most dangerous road on Earth! The road was coined the Death Road back in 1997 because a study determined that it was the most dangerous road on Earth. In fact, there is at least one fatal accident per month!
Several hundred meters later, we came across the memorial shrine of 5 Israelis who died on a jeep a decade or so ago. I knew about it so it didn't creep me out. Along the way, we stopped to admire the view.
