Los tucanes de Rurre: Practical hostel

As you probably won't stay longer in rurre this is a nice hostel with hammocks and friendly staff. It's in the center and really close to the tour operators. If u want something more fancy they just opened a 5* hotel nearby!

Hotel El Balcero: Nice hotel, good price

We stayed in this hotel in 10/2002 for two nights (double Bs 50/night). The rooms are clean and nice, hot shower functioning without problems. The same applies for the whole building. Friendly staff. During our trips to jugle and pampa we left our excess backpacks in the depository free of charge.

Should we once come back to Rurre this hotel would be our choice once again.

Hostal Santa Ana: Great hammocks ! Super hamacs !

We had to stay a long time in Rurrenabaque, due to the strikes in the country... About 7 days in this hostal, and that was the best way to be stuck and not regret it : the rooms are clean and quite big, with the unavoidable fans inside, there is a nice garden, and, above all, a round place with 8 hammocks, great to relax....

On a du rester longtemps a Rurrenabaque, compte tenu de la paralysation du pays. Environ 7 jours passes dans cet hotel, c'etait le meilleur moyen d'etre bloques tout en appreciant le sejour : les chambres sont propres et plutot spacieuses, dotees de l'inevitable ventilo, il y a un jardin sympa et surtout, une superbe place ronde avec 8 hamacs (indispensable pour glander toute la journee).

Cheap (around 20-25 bolivianos : 3 USD), clean and calm (at the contrary, hotel Tuichi is cheaper but really noisy).

Pas cher (environ 20-25 bolivianos, soit 3 USD), propre et calme (a l'inverse l'hotel Tuichi est moins cher mais vraiment bruillant).

Hotel Santa Ana: Good hotel in Rurre

The Santa Ana is a nice hostel, with two huge courtyards and reasonable rooms, it's one of the quieter places in town, rooms with shared showers are a good price and there is a good HOT shower !
