Reina de Enin: Floating Hotel on the Mamore River

The Reina de Enin can sleep over 20 people. You can travel the Mamore River in comfort. On my first trip, you could turn on the air conditioners when the main engine was running; however, on the second trip they never turned on the air conditioners. Maybe something was broken. At night when the boat is stopped, they have a generator for the lights and fans. At about 10 PM they turn off the generator but it had usually cooled off by then. My cabin had its own shower and toilet and could have slept three people. On my first trip, there was only one other passenger on the boat, and on the second trip, only five. The crew was typically five people counting Captain Thomas. The meals were wonderful on both trips.

The views during the day were interesting but tend to be the same mile after mile unless the pink dolphins or other wildlife pass by. They also take you on side trips in the small boats to do fun things like piranha fishing, a jungle walk, horseback riding on the savanna, visit an indigenous village, and view alligators at night.
