Hotel Esmeralda: Great View

Very comfortable and fairly priced, great views all around! great place to relax after a biking trip. Its far from the main plaza and you will need to call a cab to enjoy the town of Coroico. There werent too many tourists there, good and bad, if you like the company of other travelers.

Hotel Jerusalén: Budget hotel in Potosi

This is a cheap, friendly backpackers' hotel much favoured by adventure tour groups. When I was here it was undergoing major renovation work, so I had to clamber over dusty piles of bricks and planks to reach my room, but I'm sure once they've finished it will be very nice. It has a good, central location.

Toñito Hotel: Good base for an expedition across the salt flats

Toñito Hotel is not only a decent place to stay, but it has probably the best restaurant in Uyuni. It is owned by an American married to a Bolivian and they are really helpful. I left my diary here and they sent it to me, by bus, to Sucre.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a good supply of hot water.

HI Sucre Hostel: Greatest Value in Sucre

The building is amazing inside, rooms are wide and clean, staff friendly and qualifided. Bad Point, this place is half an houre walking from the centre even if they tell you it's only 15 minuts.
To safe some money don't need to do the laundry there as just around the corner there is a good Laundry Service for half of the price offered inside the hostel

Hostelling International Sucre: Great Hostel in Sucre

The Hosteling International in Sucre is the best in the city. Rooms are incredibly big, clean and nice. All the hostel in general and the building is very good, but few inconvenient things : It 's 25/30 minutes far from the city center (where you can actually find a lot more hostels with different prices but different qualities too) and Don't use the laundry service there as just beside the corner there is a shop who makes the same job for half of the price.

This is honestly one of the best building adapted in Hostel I have ever seen. But just a bit far from the center.

"The Adventure Brew Hostel": Best Hostels in La paz

This Hostel is in Av. Montes 533. If you arrive by bus and stop in the main bus station of La Paz, you don't even need to take a taxi. Ask somebody near the station and the Avenida is 5 minutes walking away. This Hostel has an other "cheaper" building next to the main one, don't be surprised if they are overbooked or you choose the cheapest accommodation and they will walk you to an other building. Both of them are very good value. In the night time in the first and main building there is a nice bar that offers you a free beer everyday and food is served too. The other building has an amazing terrace where travelers usually drink beer and smoke cigarettes, the view is breathtaking.

The main hostel has a nice bar where travelers even order food and get drunk. The other building has a better view. Please notice that if you are staying in one of the two hostel you can still go and visit the two buildings whenever you want. Personally I was staying in the one with a better terrace and view, but I still went every night to the main one to use the bar and take the free beer.

Hotel de su Merced: Luxury at Motel 6 prices

If you want to splurge on one accommodation in Bolivia, this is the place to do it in. The hostel is a converted hacienda and is located in the heart of Sucre. The rooms are elegant and the furniture fits with the architecture. All rooms have access to the roof where one gets a nice view of the rest of the city. A full breakfast including eggs, fresh fruit, oj, and breads is included. And best of all, if one is so inclined, you can take a proper bath with as much hot water as you could want.
