Pousada Piramidal: Like Home
Although I was not pleased with the inn I had chosen on my first visit to Canavieiras, I later found the Pousada Piramidal thanks to a tip from a friendly taxi driver. The rooms are inexpensive, the breakfast is plentiful, but the nicest part of the BandB is the atmosphere. It has been over 20 years since I have experienced such a relaxed atmosphere and the only thing I can equate it too are the old Irish BandBs before economic success changed that country for travelers. The rooms are a part of the household and the living room is also used by the family, the table for breakfast is the family table, etc.
The pousada is near the stoplight so it is in town but walking distance from the beach, the docks, and about anything else you might want to experience in this little town.

The Art Marina: A wonderful place to stay
Lou owns the house. She works in conjunction w/ the Art Marina to house those touring or fishing. The house is beautiful and Lou is quite lovely. Simply the most cared for I've ever felt as a guest.
Luxurious rooms. Wood structure w/ an old Mexican feel. Ah, how I miss it...
