Although considered to be one of the best beaches in Brazil, this beach was not one of my favourites. The beach shack, although very good, was the most expensive one we visited in Brazil. Its prices are more expensive than many restaurants in Portugal.However, take a short walk up a hilly path and you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the beach.
Try to visit the beach during a low-tide week - it then has lots of natural pools.
The beach is about 70km from Porto Seguro. On the way there you can stop to see some buffalos.
