Recomendation on how to choose the correct bloco:
What we did, is that we wanted the bloco with the best girls. The entrance and clothing were sold at a shopping mall (Barra Shopping), and we just asked every single beautiful girl where were they going. We made a list, add up 1 point for every girl, and the bloco with the most points was the winner! Of course, you can always have your own "choose topic".
Salvador is a city that offers an incredible variety of options for travellers with different interests. The architecture fascinates visitors with the different stiles and collors that go from early colonial to modern business buildings.
One special thing about this citiy is that it has the longest beach promenade in the world, 80 km measures this stretch, with a variety of different beaches which are mostly apropriate for bathing.
This picture is from the famous Itapuã beach were the famous compositor Dorival caimy and his friend Vinicius de Moraes spent many afternoons writing songs and watching sunsets.
Salvador was the first capital of Brazil. This is the fort São marcelo seen from the docks. In earlier years it was a prision.
It`s situated in the lower city.
