Serrinha Hotels

Probably a pousada or two.

We didn't stay in a pousada. I assume they have at least one there, but I didn't see it. We stayed with our friend's relatives. Here's a picture of the house where we stayed. Pretty much everyone in and around the town has electricity, but this house didn't. You have to come up with a certain amount of money to have a pole installed near your property to run the line and the onwer of this house hadn't come up with it yet. Running water consisted of a water spiget in the backyard.

If you are going to Serrinha or any other small town during São João, you will probably have a hard time finding a place to stay if you don't make arrangements ahead of time. But who knows, maybe you will make some friends and they will offer you a place to spend the night...
