"Life in Goiania"

Popluation around 1 million. Quiet city as Brazilian cities go. Safe. Lots of sidewalk bars as the climate is good the year around. Several large shopping malls. Upscale areas are Setor Oeste and Bueno. Economy based mostly on agriculture. Called the Dallas of Brazil. 1 hr and 20 minutes from Sao Paulo by air.

City of over 1 million located an 1:30 minutes for Sao Paulo by plane; 12 hrs by bus. 30 minutes by plane from Brasilia; 3 hrs by bus.

"Looking towards the Zoo"

The Zoo is five minutes from the La Rocca Hotel, 10 from Piquiras Bar-Restaurant. Early in the morning and evening many "walkers" do their tour around the Zoo.
