Intercity Premium Hotel Cuiabá: Cool place in a hot city
Cuiabá literally was the hottest place we've visited on our last trip to Brazil- when we arrived it was around 45°C! Due to the heat a decent hotel was all the more important to us.
Intercity Premium in Cuiabá lies ca. 6 km North of Marechal Rondon International Airport. It's a very modern hotel with huge, tastefully furnished rooms and lots of pleasant features like, for example, an outdoor pool and bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful and check in was finished quickly. Our room was equipped with phone, TV, air condition and minibar. There also is a 24 h room service which we called once. Unfortunately the guy responsible for the room service did not speak any English and I had to rummage my brain for what is left of my Spanish lessons! ; )
We've unfortunately not been able to try breakfast as we had to leave too early in the morning the next day.
As mentioned above: the hotel does have a very nice outdoor swimming pool with a bar right next to it. There also is a small outdoor fitness centre close to the pool. Some more of the hotel's features are: a restaurant, laundry service, indoor parking and a conference centre which includes 3 rooms of various sizes.
In the hotel's close vicinity you can find many nice restaurants and bars.

Real Palace: Low budget Hotel
It's cheap, it's clean and comfortable. Perfect accomodation for the low budget traveler (more than 1 person). Located in the center of Cuiabá. You don't want to stay to long in Cuiabá, but for 1 or 2 nights this is a good place.
