Arriving in town about midnight with no reservations, I drove around looking for hotels that were both open, had rooms and reasonable rates. There were some upscale hotels, but in my opinion the business rates were extremely inflated.
Spending the weekend on a more budget adventure and not needing the most luxurious stay, I settled for the Real Hotel.
The lobby was in the process of getting a remodel, so it looked nice enough. The rooms however were slightly aged. I moved rooms because the first one faced the main street and the traffic noise was loud. The second room on the back side was much more quiet. The beds were comfortable enough and the room had basic offerings, but were not noteworthy by any means.
They did include breakfast which was a self-serve cold buffet. While it was simple, it was quite satisfying. Parking is on the street free of charge.
They offered a ~10% discount for paying cash.
