A very nice hotel housed in a really beautiful colonial house of 1849. It was totally restored in 1999 keeping its old charm.. It was founded by nuns, Sisters Vicentinas, and has been there for 30 years. The nuns are still living in it. It mostly accepts groups of nuns traveling but also tourists who are prepared to comply with the rules of the place, which are respect to other people, decent behaviour and keeping the place quiet. This is good for those who really want to relax. The carefully trimmed gardens are large and there is nice view from the balconies. The rooms are pleasant and very clean with TV, minibar and telephone.
There are basket ball courts and a large swimming pool and a chapel.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from an excellent buffet.
The location is very good as it is at a walking distance from most points of interest.
But the most important is the attention the hotel people are giving you. You feel they respect you as a person and as a guest very much.
Dorm beds cost 38R$, single rooms are 75R$, doubles 140R$, triples 195R$ and quadruples 240R$.
