After debating about where in the world to spend our honeymoon, we decided to give Porto de Galinhas a try. What a wonderful choice we made. The small resort town has everything to offer - gorgeous beaches (currently considered the best of all Brazil), DELICIOUS food, a safe and relaxed environment, and WONDERFUL locals who do their very best to help one out. The best part is that since the tourism boom occurred only a few years ago, the area is still relatively unexploited.

From Recife,take the freeway nbr 101,it's in the municipality of Ipojuca,between Cupe beach and Maracaipe.

"THE RICH NATURE OF PORTO"

One of the reasons that makes from Porto De Galinhas an unusual beach,is the fact its nature stills almost untouchable by the men hands.
The white sands,the cristaline tepid water,and the fact it has one of the most beautiful and big coral reef in the world (when the tide is down,you can apreciate the reefs using a snorkle only,and than also,you have the natural pools all over,where you can feed a huge nbr of amazing fishes!

"ALTERNATIVE TRIPS"

As an alternative trips,if diving is not on your list,you can take a good guide and go to an extint volcano,with more than 90 million years,located in Ipojuca.
The " Mangue "(a kind of swamp),is another trip that worths to take in consideration.
There you can see the " Baoba ",a beautiful tree brought from Africa by the slaves about 400 years ago!
