Porto de Galinhas is a great beach town, known for its amazing reef and colorful sea life. The reason I went was to get a bronze tan and to snorkel in the shallow warm water.
Porto is a bit more expensive than Recife, but is quaint and offers an intimate street of shops and restaurants. It's like a boutique resort without the imposing two- hundered- room hotels.
Porto de Galinhas is a very nice place to spend some time there. Calm, long beaches, natural sea swimmingpools, pleasent people, good restaurants, lots of hotels and other accomodation spots, from very expensive to very cheap prices.
Porto de Galinhas é um locaç agradável para passar algum tempo. Praia longa, piscinas naturais, gente simpática, bons restaurantes, desde o barato até ao caro , com muitos hoteis, estalagens, pensoes, etc.
