Dormitorio Beta.: Cheap and simple accomodation by the bus station.

This place is a very simple place right by the bus station that is fine if you don´t mind primitive conditions.
The rooms are tiny and fitted just with a bed and nothing else.
There is a communual shower in the hallway.
To me these kinda places are fine for a few nights, but i´m sure not everyone agree on that.
this is really shoestring kinda place and costs only about 3 dollars pr night for a single room.

The place is run by a very friendly woman and a few young girls that help out there and they made me feel very welcome.

Opinion of Price: least expensive

Hotel cactus.: The most centrally located hotel.

I stayed a few nights at the hotel cactus.
I found the place to be very friendly and the rooms were quite fine with attached bathroon and aircondition.
Surely no luxury hotel, but just what i was looking for.
The hotel is overlooking the main square, so you have a nice view from the balcony where the breakfast is served.

First of all it was an extremely friendly place and it is in the best location one can have in Serra Talhada.
