Just comfortable.
My stay was almost uneventful. The only problem I had was that the crew didn't put a towel for each guest in my room and when I asked for it, they said they had run out of them... No problem, really, weren't that a self proclaimed four star, which it is not. I come here every year for teaching, and I've been watching the decay of this hotel every year.
The rooms are clean, but decoration get no marks for flair. Breakfast is good and varied, and there is a fine swimming pool, that will get in the shadows very soon.
If you come, ask for a front room, so that you can see Ponte Hercílio Luz. Bear in mind that it is at least 20km away from the nearest fine beach.
